Traditional Legends is an independent folklore research and storytelling project dedicated to the documentation and interpretation of myths, legends, and traditional belief systems from cultures around the world. The project examines how supernatural narratives emerge, spread, and persist  and what they reveal about real human experience, history, and environment.

Drawing on disciplines including folklore studies, history, archaeology, and anthropology, Traditional Legends approaches myth not as entertainment or speculation, but as cultural record. Each subject is explored within its historical and regional context, emphasizing primary sources, traditional accounts, and comparative analysis.

The work of Traditional Legends has been featured in broadcast television, including the use of archival material on The Proof Is Out There (History Channel), and has appeared in print media, including a 2023 cover feature in American Paranormal Press. The project’s research has also been developed into multiple published books on folklore and traditional belief.

Traditional Legends was founded to preserve and present folklore with depth, respect, and accuracy  offering a grounded alternative to sensationalized paranormal media. The project continues to expand across written, visual, and research-based formats, with a focus on long-form storytelling and historically rooted interpretation.
