Founder, Historian & Folklore Research Director

Bee Williams is a historian, author, and folklore researcher specializing in European and global traditional belief systems. Her work focuses on examining myth and legend as cultural record  tracing how supernatural narratives reflect historical conditions, social structures, and shared human experience.

She is the author of three published books on folklore and traditional belief, and her research and archival materials have been featured in broadcast television, including The Proof Is Out There (History Channel). In 2023, her work was featured on the cover of American Paranormal Press.

As Founder and Research Director of Traditional Legends, Bee oversees project development, historical analysis, and long-form narrative structure. Her approach emphasizes source-based research, regional context, and responsible interpretation, positioning folklore as history rather than spectacle.

Jon Williams is a researcher and analyst with over two decades of experience in law enforcement and advanced academic training in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, and Information Technology. His background informs a disciplined, evidence-based approach to the study and documentation of folklore, anomalous accounts, and unexplained phenomena.

As Research Director for Traditional Legends, Jon oversees case analysis, archival organization, and investigative methodology, applying structured analytical frameworks to material often treated sensationally. His role emphasizes verification, pattern recognition, and contextual evaluation, helping ensure that each subject is examined with rigor and restraint.

Jon’s work provides a critical balance within Traditional Legends grounding historical and folkloric material in analytical process while allowing space for cultural ambiguity where definitive conclusions are not possible.
